The drawing tools will be disabled if labels haven't been defined.

To define labels:

• Go to your project's dashboard under the datasets view.
• Press the 3 dots on the right side of the dataset.
• Press "Edit Recipe"
• In label view type the name of a new label and add it by clicking the "plus" icon, or by clicking enter.
  
  
  Now you can go back to the studio and see the drawing tools are visable.
